Meet the Team
CRT -1 Program Coordinator
Captain Suber began her public service career at Pasquotank Correctional Institution in 2000. As a Sergeant, she developed the skills to efficiently deal with emergencies. In 2008, she joined the Pasquotank Rescue Squad and became a full-time member of Pasquotank-Camden EMS in 2009 as an AEMT. She rapidly progressed from an EMT-Intermediate (AEMT) to a Paramedic in 2011. Selenamarie managed the PCEMS PR team from 2010 to 2016. She was promoted to CPPP Captain in 2019 and she is the driving force behind PCEMS' Community Partnership Paramedicine Program (CPPP). Building this program from the ground up, Selenamarie is making enormous strides in our community when it comes to patient information education, hospital readmission prevention, overdose prevention, post-overdose maintenance and follow-up care.

Selenamarie is certified in Community Paramedicine, Crisis Intervention Team, and Mental Health Resilience Officer.
CRT - 2 Community Paramedic
Janice started her career as an EMT in 2003 and obtained her Advanced EMT in 2011. She achieved her Paramedic Credential in 2015 and is currently certified in Community Paramedicine, Crisis Intervention, and as a Mental Health Resilience Officer. She has also worked at Tyrrell County EMS as an Operations Chief and Chowan County EMS as a Paramedic. Janice came to Pasquotank-Camden EMS in 2020.
